“Let’s give Aunt Jane our lucky

horseshoe,” said Pip. “Maybe it will

be lucky for her, too.”

Squeak brushed his head against

the wall. The horseshoe fell off of the

hook. Plop!

Pip pushed it toward the milking

stool with her hoof.

“Aunt Jane will love-love-love our

gift,” said Squeak.

“Our lucky gift,” said Pip.

“That is a big pile of gifts,” said

Sweet Pea.

“It will be even bigger when you

put your gift in it,” said Silo. “What

will you give her?”

“Baa,” said Sweet Pea. “I already

gave her a gift.”

The friends were surprised. Very,

very surprised.

“What did you give her?” asked

Pip.

“Baa,” said Sweet Pea. “I can’t tell

you. It’s a secret.”
